OVER HOBOJOBOS

HOBOJOBOS bestaat uit Joe Beau (gitaar en hoofdzang), Felix (wasbord en achtergrondzang), Vincent (trompet), Kevin (cajon) en Robin (mandoline). Door Joe’s punkinvloeden begon de band Folk Punk te spelen, waarbij ze vaak vrolijke deuntjes combineren met doordachte teksten over onderwerpen als depressie, alcoholisme en maatschappelijk onrecht.

Verhalen variërend van plastic dat in de oceaan belandt tot het niet uit bed kunnen komen, vinden hun weg in de liedjes. Hun tracks zijn vaak kort, snel en uitnodigend om mee te zingen en te dansen (bij voorkeur als krabben).

ABOUT HOBOJOBOS

HOBOJOBOS consists of Joe Beau (Guitar & Main Vocals), Felix (Washboard & Backing Vocals), Vincent (Trumpet), Kevin (Cajon) & Robin (Mandolin). By way of Joe’s punk-influences the band started playing Folk Punk, combining often cheerful tunes with thoughtful lyrics concerning topics as depression, alcoholism and societal misjustice.

Stories ranging from plastic ending up in the ocean to not being able to get up out of bed make their way into the songs. Their tracks are often short, fast and inviting to sing and dance along to (preferably like crabs).
